In between performing jobs I've been teaching for the last 6 years at various schools including the Guildford School of Acting, Arts Ed, Urdang, City Acting Academy and Musical Theatre Masterclass. My training at the Royal Academy of Music introduced me to the Estill Model and methods, while my further teaching experience has lead me teach using both classical and modern singing techniques.
What all this means is really that I don't have one method or 'style', which I think is useful in allowing me to adapt to the needs of the student. You might have some classical experience and need me to tell you how to access more contemporary sounds, or you might be comfortable in pop style and need me to offer classical techniques to give you more grounding.
My background in musical theatre, straight acting and the little bit of screen work I've done also gives me a breadth of experience to offer in terms of what you're looking for. I can equally give you pointers on your Shakespeare piece, your modern play scene or your TV or film script.
I believe that all art forms are conjoined and as artists or enthusiasts we are always growing and developing and experimenting. Whether you're looking for small pointers, trying something new, or ongoing developmental work in voice or acting I always seek to work with you to find what you're looking for.
